Alongside our exhibition of work, we ran a print workshop where members of the public could create one-of-a-kind woodcut prints using pre-made blocks designed by Peepshow.
Peepshow used the opportunity at PMU to explore areas beyond their usual practice. I made these aprons for the workshop, screen printing patterns onto fabric and piecing the fabric together in the same way that I would approach a two dimensional illustration.
The aprons were designed to be displayed as colourful flags, which then folded at the sides to form practical aprons for the print workshops.
They were reused at Peepshow's residency at PMU in 2012 at the Museum of Objects and Origins.
